Hawaiian Essence™ began out of the company founder's love of sports and her many years of experience as a massage therapist. Pam, the owner of Hawaiian Essence™, has been a massage therapist for 35 years and incorporates deep tissue massage and sports massage into her work. She has worked on many athletes over the years; many of them tri-athletes.

Being an athlete herself, she constantly saw the need for a product that would help the muscles and body recover from rigorous, strenuous, exercise. Pam searched for products that would fit the wants and needs of her clients, but wasn't satisfied with any of the products currently on the market, so she decided to develop her own. She began with her knowledge of nutritive products and, working with a chemist, started formulating RECOVERNOL™. After many years of extensive research, she finally developed the current RECOVERNOL™ formula to include Ocean Essence®. She specifically designed RECOVERNOL™ to ease muscle fatigue, aches, pains, strains and inflammation. Pam truly believes RECOVERNOL™ far surpasses many other similar products found on the market today, and she's excited to be able to share it with you.
